I had so much fun making these last night and they only took about 25 minutes each. Use our CroEdge Blade for fleece and theses instructions to make these cute Halloween kitchen towels. No more falling off the oven! I got these towels for 1.00 each at Kroger
Towel prep/Foundation Row
Be sure to choose towels that have the same design on the top and bottom. Use a rotary cutter to cut the towel evenly in half. Use our CroEdge Blade for fleece to make the crochet holes about ½” from the edge of the towel. This will make a nice hem.
With the front of the towel facing you; slip stitch into the first hole on the right and then chain 1. Crochet into the next hole and chain 1 all the way across. Ch 3 and turn
Row 1 – DC in each stitch across. Ch 3 and turn
Row 2 – DC2tog in each stitch across. Ch 3 and turn
Row 3 – Repeat row 2
Row 4 - Repeat Row 2 (if you have an extra on the end just make 1 DC in the extra stitch)
Row 5 – DC evenly spaced across the row (total of 7 DC counting chain 3) Ch 3 turn
Row 6 – DC in each DC across. Ch 3 turn
Row 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 - Repeat Row 6.
